Here is the new version of our IRC, the SX, a version adapted for pilots with big WATTS!

This innovation was designed in France in order to solve recurring problems that Riders have been facing for many years (hard spot, chain tension and changing the crown without disrupting the rear wheel). IRC SX type l is designed for traditional 10mm frame dropouts, to mount 15 or 10mm axle wheels when using the 10-15mm adapters supplied with the IRC.

The IRC SX System creates permanent tension on the chain thanks to the new longer yoke which is fixed on a CNC stainless steel axle, articulated using two annular bearings and a stainless steel spring. The tension is exerted on the chain via the derailleur wheel (also mounted on an annular bearing and a stainless steel axle) and the Teflon roller, which allows great fluidity and reduced resistance when pedaling. The chain line is adjusted at the level of the derailleur pulley and the Teflon pulley (lateral adjustment). The assembly is mounted on stainless steel axes, to carry out precise lateral adjustment. Once the adjustment is optimal, the position of the axle can be locked via a 4mm intra-screw in the yoke.

The advantages offered by the IRC SX:

1. No longer having a hard point (caused either by the crown, the pinion or the crankset): in fact, the yoke is mounted on a spring, allowing possible defects to be automatically corrected machining your transmission parts.

2. Change the crown without removing the rear wheel, which is very practical during training or races: it will only take you 2 minutes of handling and will save you precious time.
